I came across Princeton Club while browsing fitness centers in Wisconsin a few years ago. I was assigned there for a short while, about 3 months, so I wanted to check out a few gyms and see which one would be a good fit for me. I’ll share the Princeton Club membership cost and other details in this article.

Princeton Club Membership Benefits

Princeton Club was founded in 1987 by businessman Dave Gerry. It started as a small health club on Madison’s east side and has now grown to 4 premier club locations and 5 Xpress club locations.

There are several things I like about this club. First, they’re open 24/7. So if you have a busy or erratic schedule like I do, going to a gym that’s open all the time is a major plus.

Another thing is that one membership gives you access to all its clubs. So it doesn’t matter if you’re in Fitchburg or Madison, you’ll be no more than a few minutes away from their club.

Moreover, you can join any and all of their classes like Excersize, Spinning, Box Aerobics, Pilates and Water Aerobics for free. They also give you free one-on-one personal training AND free childcare.

They have amenities like swimming pools, basketball court, indoor track and steam room too.

Membership Options at Princeton Club

Princeton Club membership options may vary from every location but here’s what you can expect a typical Princeton Club has to offer:

Princeton Club Membership

Princeton Club members enjoy access to premier fitness facilities without any joining fees, with full access granted to all Princeton Club and Princeton Club Xpress locations. These clubs operate 24/7, accommodating members’ varying schedules. Members with young kids get complimentary childcare services. You can access any of the 160 group exercise classes weekly, use the strength and cardio equipment, as well as small group training. Members can also use its amenities like the courts, pools and steam rooms.

Princeton Club Xpress Membership

For Princeton Club Xpress, you can benefit from exclusive amenities and not have to worry about joining fees.  These clubs operate 24 hours a day and are equipped with top-of-the-line strength and cardio equipment. Personal training services are also available, and members can get 2 complimentary personal training sessions per year, as well as access to the complete library of Les Mills Virtual Workouts.

The Princeton Club is beautiful! The Princeton Club New Berlin opened in 2002 and was originally called Motion Fitness Racquet Club. Retired Green Bay Packer star Donald Driver visited here years ago for a special event. Please be sure to ask about possible discounts. It is an excellent deal and there is a wide variety of activities for everyone. The basketball and tennis courts are awesome. There is both an outdoor pool and an indoor pool along with water slides. There is a great track for running and walking. There is an excellent selection of weight machines and exercise equipment. In addition, there is a nice restaurant and gift shop too. The Princeton club has several locations in Madison and has won multiple awards. When I visit Wisconsin, I look forward to a guess pass here. The Princeton Club is my favorite work-out facility!

I absolutely love the princeton club. If you want to surround yourself with fitness minded motivate people go to the classes they offer. Classes are free minus TRX as is childcare.

They also have a small wave pool great for physical therapy, a huge lap pool (also offer water aerobics) a sauna and a jacuzzi.

This place is my sanctuary… I have easily spent 5 hours there and felt absolutely refreshed and energized when I left.

Huge field house, punching bag, handball courts, hella cardio machines and weight lifting area.

Love love love the princeton club!

I’m a huge fan of Princeton club. They offer monthly membership or 2 year memberships.

They have group fitness classes most days. Fitchburg Princeton club is especially great. They host ladies nights about once a month or so where they’ll have a fitness class when there typically isn’t one for members to invite their female friends and family members to try.

They offer aquafit classes as well in the pool. These classes are great if you need to protect joints, muscles, or ligaments from too much strain in the beginning or for however long you like.

Grab a padded mat from the turf or one of the fitness rooms lay it in a safe location and stretch before and after your without for safest practices. Be polite any wipe it down after use.

Use a machine or go swimming for cardio. There are machines for controlled weight lifting slow and controlled is the best practice to not damage your body or the equipment. There are also free weights valuable in a few areas. There is a cardio cinema which usually has a movie going.

A cycling room, a zen studio for yoga, and a couple other rooms which offer various fitness activities. Fitchburg Princeton Club also has a small area devoted to Women with might be a great place to use if your religious or personal beliefs keep you out of view of men.

A couple more great features are the shared hot tub, ability to use the Theragun for releasing muscle tension, and that the women’s locker room has a private sauna and private showers.

Machines tend to be in working order.

Princeton Club Membership Cost in a Nutshell

The memberships for Princeton Club includes individual rates $58 to $70 and couple/family rates $88 to $110. There are also cheaper plans for Princeton Club Xpress with individual rates $44 to $55 and couple/family rates $69 to $80. These prices are reasonable considering that you get to access all of their clubs (belonging to the same price point) and they have perks and amenities you can enjoy. Unfortunately, because their memberships require 1-2 year commitments, I decided not to join Princeton Club to avoid paying any cancellation fees.
