I’ve been to Mountainside Fitness in Glendale, AZ and was really impressed with the facility and amenities. They have towel service, which is something I’m not used to seeing in gyms. Lots of machines and equipment (no lines to worry about!) Friendly staff, excellent trainers and instructors. The dry and wet sauna is amazing.

Clean, towel service, wet/dry sauna, kid-sitting services, massage chairs, and that’s all the extras. All provided at a reasonable fee.
They have a great variety of classes from tabata, spin, Zumba, old school aerobics to TRX group training sessions. It’s all included in your fees. Great equipment, lots of free weights, a CrossFit like free open area, and a green belt.
Although it can be busy at peak hours, most patrons are courteous and the guys give you space without creeping you out. You know, side eyes while you squat are expected, but I don’t want blatant stalker stares while I’m trying to get an honest workout in. Don’t have to worry about that here. Side note* I’ve experienced this more than a few times at various EOS’s, enough to make me stop my workout and leave.
Best class teachers Stephanie! Yusselly! Vanessa! And Tim! They’ll kick your butt, but you’ll come back wanting more

Can’t say enough great things about the staff at Mountainside, Queen Creek. Having lifted weights for thirty years, I didn’t think the personal training staff would be able to show me much. From Chris, to Hannah, Greg, Mike and anyone else who has spent time training me, I’ve learned so much. More than that, these people have become friends. Some nights are spent talking about life with Chris, others are spent laughing with Greg or Hannah. Overall, can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10.

So far so good 🙂 my husband and I and 2 kids went there to complete our sign up for the family membership. It includes childcare and 2 adults for around $90/ month for a 12 month membership. The gym offers tv monitors throughout where you can see your kids while in childcare which is a huge comfort. The machines are all new and in great working condition. There is a beautiful view of Tempe town lake on north side of building. The locker rooms are full of amenities, towel service available throughout and there is a steam room. Attendants are kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend.
Final Thoughts on Mountainside Fitness Membership Cost
It’s 100% worth it! If they have a Mountainside Fitness gym here in LA, I would sign up in a heartbeat. If you’re fortunate enough to live in Phoenix, get a free trial / day pass at your nearest Mountainside Fitness gym and you’ll understand what I mean.
