Only just started but already feel my gym momentum building. I’ve lifted in the past and was just looking for help with a plan and refreshers on some exercises. Aaron has gone so high above my expectations to create a personalized plan based on my goals/lifestyle/hobbies, etc for a very reasonable cost. I’m just blown away at the positive experience so far at this gym. Edit: I’ve now been working out here for about 2 months. I do 2 full body workouts per week as designed by Aaron. The muscle definition and dramatic changes in function I have seen already are so thrilling. I am stronger than I’ve ever been and thoroughly enjoy going to the gym - even look forward to it. HIGHLY recommend getting a plan made for you by Aaron if you want to see results and don’t want to spend hours figuring it out so you don’t injure yourself but can progress. Since it’s a smaller gym, I usually have it all to myself or just 1 other person. I can play my own music on the speaker which is sooo awesome, like having a personal gym. Aaron is often there to answer questions on form and is just a real nice guy.

I joined over 2 months ago and I love it! Before I was at planet fitness, but it was time to up my fitness level. My personal fitness goal is to be in the best shape of my life going into my 40's. You have to put the work in, but it's much easier when you have outstanding coaches that boost your confidence and truly care about every individual. It's an honor for me to call Leaf crossfit my home, my family, my gym! Kyle, thank you brother!

Awesome place. The employees that open every morning are intelligent and handsome. Only issue is the heavy weights are upstairs and not inside.

Good gym. A little small but has everything you need. My only complaint is the parking, but this is essentially Cap Hill after all.

You’ll never be bored if you work out with John at P.A.C.T.! The facility is fresh and the community is inviting and open. No better place to take care of your self. 3 years later and still loving the PACT community. No better place to focus on your health with a Plan, Accountability, Community and Trust!

I've worked out with John for over 8 years and he's constantly leveling up! PACT Wellness in DTC is his new permanent location and it's great. If you're wondering - because I always am - the bathrooms are good quality with sufficient space for you to get ready for the day and blow dry your hair should you choose to shower. That was a big concern for me pre-covid. In the actual gym department, John has built a really cool community for people of all ages and fitness abilities to participate in group classes - very welcoming and supportive! AND John knows you and cares enough to offer constructive feedback and ways to step up. UPDATE 6/26/24 - I'm still going to PACT a couple times a week and the classes are still fresh and the vibes are still welcoming and fun. Lots of great fitness professionals have assemble in this space like Matt who does functional fitness + stretch and Misty who leads lifting classes.

I had signed up for three trial classes after looking at all the rave reviews online. But when I showed up for class, Coach Alexandra showed me the door at least twice (she asked me to come for a later class an hour later which was apparently just an open gym) on the pretext that I wasn’t going to be able to do it (not knowing my fitness level) and that I was late for the class (despite my arrival BEFORE time). When I asked her questions about the workout - she was really rude and dismissive, almost felt like she wanted me to leave asap. It ultimately led me to cancel the remaining two training sessions. When I brought this to the owner’s attention, he didn’t really do much about it (except clarify that Alexandra wasn’t being racist toward me, a person of color— he did refund my money). I’m SO disappointed and shocked as I’ve never seen a more unfriendly and rude coach or someone turn down business like that. But I guess they don’t really need new members. I’m writing this review after the owner asked me to have my friend take down a previous bad review about the same incident. If you’re like me, you probably want to surround yourself with coaches who motivate and encourage you rather than give you that kind of treatment for no reason whatsoever. I can’t speak for the other coaches at the facility, but I’d not recommend this coach to anyone. Response to Coach Andre: While I understand your perspective as a black man who has faced racism, it's essential to recognize that racism can manifest in subtle ways beyond overt prejudice. My concerns were about the behavior I encountered, not about Alexandra's personal beliefs or upbringing. Labeling my emails as a "diatribe" kinda reinforces the problem I'm talking about, don't you think? Anyway, all the best on your journey, and hey, best wishes to you too.

Update: I received a very, very impressive response from Kiki's Gymnastics to my previously harsh review. While the owners could have retaliated, they didn't; instead acknowledging areas needed for improvement and even thanking me for my review. I am not above saying that I was overly harsh in my criticism, nor am I too proud to admit that my frustration got the better of my temperament. Thank you Kiki's Gymnastics for engaging professionally and constructively. I am happily changing my review to 4 out of 5 stars - clearly Kiki's is in capable hands.
