Salty Hive CrossFit

I did my research on CrossFit gyms in the area and SaltyHive caught my eye. Came in for a trial class and love it. Samantha was 1-1 with me & was absolutely phenomenal. Signed up for the membership at the spot 🫡 Excited & looking forward to my growth with this team.

I came to SLC for work this winter and found a home at Salty Hive CrossFit. They were the first gym I dropped into, and I immediately signed up for a membership. There was no need to look any further. This gym has such a special community!! They hold events, parties, clinics, and everything else in between. I've been doing CrossFit for 7+ years across the US and I can say with absolute certainty, that Salty Hive CrossFit has some of the most knowledgeable and passionate coaches in the world. I am consistently blown away at the quality of coaching and programming here! Every class starts and ends on time. The entire class period is thought out and planned meticulously. Not a minute is wasted. I've been to gyms where there's 18 minutes of work planned and the rest of the time is wasted, but not here. The warmups, the workout prep, the lifting, the WODs are all planned down to the minute. I would always leave class and feel so accomplished, you are moving and grooving for the entire hour! In the short 3 months I've spent here I feel that I've grown as an athlete under their expertise and care. They accommodate to every skill level and they truly want you to get better. I am really going to miss taking Samantha's classes. All of the members are so friendly and really make the place feel like a community. The owners Justin and Trish have done an incredible job building this community to what it is, and I am sad to leave it, but so so happy I got to be a part of it! If you're in SLC looking for a home gym, I can't recommend this place enough. Even if you're just dropping in, it's worth the trip to Murray. Next time I'm in SLC I will absolutely be back.

I’ve tried CrossFit a couple times and hasn’t been the best experience, my friend invited me today 6am and GARRET was the instructor…. I’m still not convinced it’s for me, but he made the class enjoyable! I would recommend anyone to come and have at least one class with him, very welcoming!!!
