Ive been a member at FIIT60 for almost a year now, and this review is long overdue. Before joining, I had tried several popular fitness programs including CrossFit, Orange Theory, and Spartan Fitness. While those HIIT-heavy workouts were great for quick metabolism boosts and initial weight loss, they werent sustainable for me. Id lose weight fast but gain it right back. I also felt like I was missing a well-rounded total body approach some muscle groups were barely touched. Worst of all, the constant high-intensity focus led to frequent injuries that sidelined me for months at a time.Thats where FIIT60 is completely different. The gym is owned and operated by Mike, who has created a smart, balanced 7-day program: 3 days of weight lifting, 2 days of HIIT/cardio, 1 core-focused day, and 1 dedicated stretching/recovery day. You dont have to attend all 7 days, but the program is thoughtfully designed so you can train daily without burning out. Mikes whole philosophy is about making fitness a sustainable lifestyle, not a short-term grind. The weight training blocks usually run for about 4 weeks before the exercises are switched up. This keeps things fresh, challenging, and actually fun instead of repetitive. When I first joined, I was at my heaviest, constantly bloated with digestive issues, and my blood pressure was higher than it should have been. A year later, Ive only dropped about 10 pounds on the scale but Ive undergone a complete body transformation. Im noticeably more muscular and much leaner. My pants size dropped by a full inch, and I had to go down a complete shirt size, even though my back, shoulders, and chest are now broader and more defined. The fat has simply melted off.I cant recommend FIIT60 highly enough. Mike is an extremely knowledgeable and competent trainer who puts a strong emphasis on proper form, body mechanics, safety, and building long-term healthy habits. If youre tired of the injury-prone HIIT grind and want a balanced, sustainable approach to fitness that actually delivers real results, this is the place.
