They really enforce it b being a family friendly place

I recently attended adult night at this skating rink, and I want to start by saying the establishment itself did not do anything wrong. Ive been here before with my son on Tuesdays, and we always have a great timehe absolutely loves it.However, my experience during adult night was a bit different. I came with a friend who hasnt skated in a few years, so she was taking it slow to get back into the groove. I stayed at her pace to support her. While we were skating, a woman passed by and told us we couldnt hold the wallwhich is completely understandable. Shortly after, a gentleman came up behind us and politely explained that slower skaters should stay in the middle.The challenge was that the rink isnt very large, and the middle area was already filled with skaters doing dances and tricks, leaving little room for beginners or slower skaters to practice comfortably. Because of this, my friend ended up feeling discouraged and decided to leave the rink altogether.The reason for my partially negative review is that when I first discovered adult night, it wasnt advertised as being geared toward advanced or highly experienced skaters. The overall environment felt a bit unwelcoming at times, with some skaters displaying behavior that came across as territorial or exclusive, which took away from the experience.Again, this is not to bash the establishment, but rather to offer a suggestion. It would be great to consider offering an adult night that caters to all skill levelsnot just advanced skatersso that everyone can feel comfortable, included, and excited to get out on the floor.I truly enjoy this rink and will continue to support it, especially during family sessions. I just hope to see a more inclusive experience created for adult nights in the future.
