Just attended my FIRST Zumba class and believe when I say you don't have to know what you're doing amd will learn as you go. I've been intimidated to join before because I assumed you need to be great at catching on to the steps quickly. But my seasoned friends (one is a guest instructor) assured me I'd have a blast. it's a dance meets FITNESS workout. Ionia is the owner and a fantastic instructor who motivates all to have FUN. She's so inclusive and keeps you on your feet. Not only was it fun but a calorie burner. Sign up, don't hesitate!

Don’t hesitate to at least try out a class, you won’t regret it. I started with the year of change fitness program, and this is my second year. And the program name says it all… It’s truly a life changing experience, when I started the program I was wearing size 1X clothes, and could barely lift my legs to exercise, or even do one push up, true story.. I currently wear size M clothing, and not only does this improve your looks, but also improves your strength and mental status. It feels good to work hard and see the results. It takes time, perseverance, dedication, and patience, but if you stick to it you won’t regret it. Ionia is by far the best instructor, she puts in her own flavor in the Zumba class and helps you find your own. She offers strength training as well! She takes time to make sure you understand what you are learning, and one of the things that I really like, is that she doesn’t let you give up on yourself, and motivates you to do your best! Danzar studio is always available on a daily basis with amazing classes to lift my spirits and continue my fitness journey. I love the staff, Ionia is an amazing coach and goes above and beyond when I need to tweak my fitness journey. All of my best friends have been made in these classes. I love the camaraderie and the positive environment. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing studio in Ventura!
