I am a single healthy , 72 1/2 years of age, white female on a fixed income. My career has been in floral design, using my hands to create. I retired in the Summer of 2018:In the Spring/Summer of 2020 I began to develop a soreness in the ring finger of my right hand. The soreness was in the connection of my finger to my hand and what I thought went into the knuckle . I thought arthritis, settled in to keeping as active as possible for as long as possible. The pain became worse as did the catching, which I was told by a friend it was trigger finger . It was a challenge to open cans and bottles. My left knee was injured, causing pain when I exercised, and walked.September 2020 I believe was when the YMCA began to offer Group Accupumcture at Blaisdell and St. Paul Midway. I believe in Eastern medical procedures, signed up and began to be a regular. The Doctors were exceptional. I mentioned about my arthritis in my finger. Dr. Christine Grisham and Dr. Rae both suggested it beDeputryens, and begun treating me for that. There was improvement, then the service was interrupted by COVID , and the closing of the YMCAs.January, 2021 when Group Accupumcture resumed offering treatments I signed up.As of the middle of March 2021, I have no pain or catching in my ring finger of my right hand, or the knuckle. We continue to treat the area every second or third visit . My knees are both improved, as have all the areas which we continue to treat. Accupumcture is helping me with sleep, anxiety, depression, cravings, with my cholesterol, moods, overall well-being . My sciatic nerve in my right hip was triggered, Accupumcture relieved the pain. When I feel i may have triggered it, we deal with it right away so the pain is never severe.Thank you for offering Group Accupumcture at the YMCA and for the excellent Doctors !Sent from my iPad
