3/4 stair master machines are currently inoperable (1/4 has been in the hallway for quite some time), and a certain selfish regular feels the need to use the only available stairmaster for quite literally 2 hours EVERYDAY leaning over it and watching tv on an iPad (pointless). When I asked the staff to say something to her and prioritize other members (after I tried speaking to her myself), I was told there is nothing they can do and there is no policy on time on a machine. On top of this, the bathrooms always smell and are not clean. The pool has been closed or used for swim team the few times Ive wanted to use it. Ive only joined for a couple months and I am most definitely cancelling.

I have been a member of various YMCAs since childhood. The Arvada Y has been my gym for 5 years but now I'm sad to say I feel I must look elsewhere for better options. Problems at Arvada: constantly broken equipment; showers, toilets and urinals inoperable for months on end. I'm not sure why these issues persist but I'm hopeful someday they can get their act together.
