The Student Recreation Center has been serving the WVU and Morgantown community for around 20 years and is home to personal training, fitness equipment, youth programs and several other facilities. GRIT is a high intensity interval training workout designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle using barbells, weight plates and bodyweight exercises, with modifications provided for all fitness levels.

Students who do not pay Campus Fees may purchase a semester membership for $110.00 per semester.

Daily Guest Passes are available to purchase at the Front Desk of the Student Recreation Center for $10 per pass.

A dependent is defined as someone who lives with a member on a permanent or temporary basis and must be under age 24, with the family dependent membership offered at a flat rate for all dependents with no charge for dependents under age 5.

Individuals who are Medicare Advantage Policy Holders qualify for WVU Campus Recreation Membership, with eligible programs including Silver Sneakers, Silver + Fit, One Pass, Renew Active, and Aaptiv Advantage. WVU students with valid Mountaineer Cards are automatically members through payment of tuition and Campus Fees when currently registered for classes.
