I would not recommend getting a membership at TruFit. From the start, they pressure you to sign a personal training contract when youre only trying to get a basic gym membership, and they dont take no for an answer. I eventually ended up signing both a gym membership and a five-month personal training contract.On the final month of my contract, I paid the remaining balance and decided to stop the personal training. However, I was then told there is a 30 day cancellation policy, which required me to pay for an additional month even though my contract had already ended. This policy was never clearly explained to me, and it felt like a money grab.Additionally, the gym is consistently disorganized. Equipment and weights are rarely put back properly, and it often takes several minutes just to find what you need. The facility itself is usually dirty and poorly maintained. The restrooms and sauna were especially unpleasant, with strong odors and a lack of cleanliness.Lastly, TruFit makes canceling your membership extremely difficult, which only adds to the frustration of the overall experience.
