I have been a member for five years and canceled today. My monthly rate was suddenly increased by ten dollars without meaningful notice. It is the second day of the month and I was charged 39.99 and told I would not be refunded even though I canceled immediately. That is unacceptable. The equipment is frequently out of service and repairs take too long. There are no real amenities to justify the price increase. At forty dollars a month you are competing with major national chains that offer better facilities, better upkeep, and significantly better customer service. I stayed because you are local. Loyalty clearly means nothing here. The value no longer matches the cost and the service does not match the price point. I would not recommend this gym to anyone considering other options nearby.
