It's been over two years now since I started at Starting Strength Memphis, and I can't say enough about the great experience here the coaches and fellow members are all very personable and encouraging to one another.My coach, Scott Acosta, has provided a very specific program that helps me continue making progress and really customizes the program for each person regardless of their background or abilities. At one point I fractured my knee in three places and thought I would have to sit out for a few months (who wants to do that?). I didn't think there was anything that could be done. Scott, however, designed a specific program that allowed me to continue training while my leg healed. I'm 100% certain I would not have gotten that anywhere else. Since then, I've been able to continue the program and keep moving forward.I would highly recommend SS-M to anyone looking for quality, personalized strength training in a friendly environment.

Definitely stronger and more confident since training at Starting Strength. My upper back used to bother me at work, but now, after getting my deadlift stronger, that no longer bothers me. Eric Strong is a very good trainer.

Starting Strength is a great gym. Eric is the best coach one could ask for. I wish I would have started this 30 years ago.
