An old-school boxing gym operating since the early 1980s with deep roots in the community, housed in the Emmett Scott Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The club was founded by Charlie Hammond, who was inducted into the Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame in 2006, and is currently directed by Alonzo Lumpkin, a former Golden Glove winner. Rock Hill Boxing Club trains men, women, and children ages 8 and up, focusing on building boxing foundations, physical fitness, and incorporating self-discipline and self-defense into every session.
