Ive been going to this gym for the last three weeks and I am not impressed whatsoever. If it wasnt the delayed replies when I attempted three times to get my complimentary new member fitness assessment done, and being told on repeat by the front desk that the fitness coach would reach out FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT which never happened its the other issues piling up.The mens locker room has been so hot over these last few weeks of my membership that theres literally a fan plugged into the wall in front of the bathroom sinks just to ventilate the air in there. Yesterday I made a 30-minute commute only to walk in and immediately get slapped with heat because the AC in the gym had gone out. No email. No in-app alert. Nothing. If I had known the AC was broken, I wouldnt have come in. I was told it wont even be fixed for at least two days. The gym has nice equipment and a decent location, but thats about it. I pay the military discounted rate of 80 monthly and honestly even that feels like too much for the level of service and the locker room situation going on here. The shower stall I used for three days in a row had the same dirty spots in it each day. I noticed them repeatedly. Ive recently stopped showering there not because I enjoy driving home sweaty but because the times of day I go, there are almost never any towels available. I was told its because of the time I visit, but over the past week Ive come in at a variety of different times and still never see towels. And when they are available, theyre barely big enough to wrap around my size-28 waist and theyre so coarse youd think theyve been washed and reused for a decade. Hardest towels Ive ever used in my life. Even the soap in the showers doesnt have a brand name, which feels strange considering the prices this gym charges, so I bring my own. Without the military discount, this membership would be 115 a month.Another issue was the pressure I felt from one of the managers to connect the gym billing directly to my bank account. I told her repeatedly I only wanted to connect my debit card, but she kept pushing, saying if I didnt link my bank account there would be a 15 late fee if the debit card payment failed. I stood my ground and said no multiple times, and she seemed visibly agitated by it, all while at the front desk as other members checked in beside me, EVEN raising her voice at me.If this werent the only gym in my area that isnt constantly packed likely because of the price point Id MOST DEFINITELY go somewhere else. I recently moved, and the gym I used to attend, Equinox, doesnt have any nearby locations.I WOULD NOT recommend this gym, ESPECIALLY at this price point. In my opinion, this place should be NO MORE THAN 45 a month.
