I love going to planet fitness in Morrow it's a relaxing environment nobody looking at you you like in your own world everybody working out doing their own thing and the staff is just wonderful and also I like the Tootsie rolls that be having in that pale

Ive been a consistent member at this Planet Fitness location for the past few months, and I primarily use the hydro massage beds as part of my recovery routine. As a nutritionist, trainer, and mother, I have long, physically demanding days, and this has been something I rely on to help regulate my body and nervous system.Last week, I briefly fell asleep during a hydro massage session. When the new overnight staff member, Manuel Lanzas, approached me, I immediately woke up and was fully responsive. Despite this, I was informed that the police had been called for violating policy.When I asked Manuel why he ignored me and refused to make eye contact. I was not given a clear explanation until another staff member, Angel, spoke on his behalf.Angel always treats her customers with respect and care.At no point prior to the police being called was I disruptive or refusing to cooperate. This level of escalation was unnecessary and extremely concerning. As a Black woman, involving law enforcement in a situation like this carries serious implications, and I felt unsafe and unfairly targeted.Additionally, the night prior, I had an uncomfortable interaction with the same staff member. I brought a guest, and Manuel was sitting on the counter on his phone with a nasty attitude. He treated us poorly, despite me remaining respectful. I have also observed similar behavior toward other customers during overnight hours.To make matters worse, I was charged 15 and had my membership canceled following this incident, which feels unjustified given the circumstances.This experience was unprofessional and disappointing. I will be contacting corporate to formally address this situation.

Ive been coming to Planet Fitness in Brookhaven for over 2 years now, and at this point it feels less like a gym and more like a judgment-free family reunion just with more sweating.The equipment stays solid, the place is always clean, and somehow theres always a treadmill open when Im pretending I enjoy cardio. But lets be realthe real MVP of this place is Angel.If youve been here, you know Angel. If you havent met her yet, give it 5 minutesshes probably already greeted you, remembered your face, and made you feel like youve been coming here for years. She brings a whole different energy to the gym. Always positive, always respectful, always movingcleaning, checking on people, and somehow still finding time to talk and connect with everyone.Its rare to walk into a place where the staff actually make it feel welcoming, but Angel does that effortlessly. Shes the reason this gym doesnt just feel like a place to work outit feels like a place you actually want to come back to.Give that woman a raise, a promotion, or at least her own fan club. She earned it.
