Parks Plus Fitness

I've been a member for two years. I'm only going a few times a weeks because it's hard to know when they are going to be busy. Sometimes, it's standing room only for the treadmills. The machines are clogged with members looking at their phones or watching tv on iPads. Many, don't wipe down the machines. I'm rethinking about paying $250 a year this year. I may join another facility.

They remodeled the entire fitness center last year and it's great. New equipment and decor, 2 squat racks including a lot of leg and upper body machines if you're not into using the free weights, Smith station, 2 multi-use machines, plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, stairs, stretching and exercise room, recovery room which costs a little extra but is optional. The locker room isn't huge but it's adequate for the amount of patrons, it's very secure as you need a membership card to scan to gain entry and the lockers are combination coded. The lockers are pretty small, not full length. They accept Medicare fitness programs like Silver Sneakers or whatever it's called now.
