I started OrangeTheory two months ago and have to say this is the best decision and money I have every spent on my fitness journey. The biggest differentiator and what keeps me coming back are the coaches. They are all excellent, know fitness and create a welcoming environment for newcomers regardless of fitness level/experience but each one brings something slightly different to the table.Angela is the motivator/cheerleader/force of nature extraordinare. She knows how to get the best out of you in every class, works the whole room for the whole hour and is always offering advice on how to improve. Its almost like she has a sixth sense and know what the members need even before they do. She also fosters a huge sense of community and belonging for all members. She basically fires on all cylinders all the time. She should be head coach.Mike has what I call the big brother approach. He knows the task at hand and makes sure that everyone completes it to the best of their ability. He motivates, teaches and advises. Hes always surveying the room and when you see him coming toward you, you know something good is going to come of that interaction, be it a correction to form, a comment to tell you he sees you improving , or advice on things you can do outside of class.Jay is like the stealth coach. He watches the room and takes it all in. All of a sudden, hes right next to you, offering advice, corrections or just motivating you by taking some weights off the station and joining in for a few reps.My experience may with them may not be the same as yours, but I wouldnt trade any one of them for a different coach.
