Yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of taking a class with coach Frantz. I have been to many studios and have never encountered such a disrespectful, know-it-all such as himself. I am a personal trainer myself and have been body building for years. I am also a very short 411 and was wearing an oversized T-shirt. I think his savior complex took in and felt the need to come target me specifically yesterday.I counted 6 separate times he came up to me during a Strength 50 telling me to lower the weight I was doing. I am getting over a sickness and was lifting lighter than I normally do. For example, on low rows I normally do the 40s but yesterday went lighter with the 30s. The last time he came up to me was as Im finishing my low rows set and tells me i need to go SIGNIFICANTLY lighter , like 20s or less. I am fed up at this point and tell him that I am good. He tells me I am not good and mansplains how to do a low row, as if I dont have the same qualifications and experience as he does. I tell him that that is EXACTLY what I am doing and ask him to point out what I am doing differently. He could not provide an answer other than you need to lower the weight, injury is not fun.I have had many many injuries before and am not afraid to lower the weight if I need to, like I did today during his class. I do not ever ego lift, and having him continuously bother me during class was not only annoying but insulting. If I was taller or had been wearing something not as baggy, i guarantee he would of left me alone. Instead, he saw a small white girl who was presumably new (as Ive never been to plantation studio before) and wanted to jump in and save me. Or just didnt like that I was lifting heavier than most of the class. Will never ever take Frantz class again and he should not be coaching.

My wife and I have been coming here for 6 months and we really enjoy it. The front desk staff, Isabella and Megan, are wonderful and very helpful. Our coach Kristen is fantastic. Kristen makes the class fun, challenging and plays great music (which really helps). Silk and Mazie are very good too. I can't say enough good things about this store. Highly recommend it.

A bit unfriendly. I was looking for a gym that took Silver Sneakers. The front desk ladies have no idea if Orange Theory took Silver Sneakers or not.
