Im going to start this review by laying out my credentials: I am a washed-up athlete, triathlete, coach, and former group fitness instructor. When "life happened," exercise went from being my identity to being something I actively avoided thinking about. I was perpetually "on the fence" about Orangetheory until July 2024, when a friend dragged me in, and I haven't looked back since.As someone who used to spend hours programming my own routines and practices, the single greatest gift OTF offers me is the blissful, brain-dead simplicity of walking in and asking: "What fresh hell have you planned for me today?" It is truly one less thing I have to worry about planning, and that alone is worth the membership fee.I started coming twice a week just to see if I liked it, and here we are, 160 classes later, with an upgraded unlimited membership and as a proud member of the 5am crew. What I appreciate most, as an adult with adult responsibilities, is the culture that understands showing up is half the battle. Whether I've got 100% or 50% in the tank, it's my workout, and I can dial the effort up or down as needed. It's truly a no-judgment, one-hour zone-out session.The staff here is genuinely friendly and professional, and the studio is always immaculately cleana huge plus that speaks volumes about how well the facility is cared for. The flexible schedule makes it easy to wedge my workout into a chaotic day.If you've been on the fence like I was, take the chance. I can confidently say that finding my one hour a day to get it done has been a game-changer. Ive gotten leaner, stronger, and fitter. Five out of five splat points!
