This is my honest opinion of both, the Orangetheory Fitness program and the studio located in Granger. I started back in early summer of this year. I was new to the area, but not new to working out. I had gone through some major life transitions and found it hard to get back into my normal fitness routine. I never loved doing group fitness classes before because I never found them to be challenging enough for me. But, I needed some motivation and structure back in my life. I went in with low expectations and left my first class in love with it. I've done everything from Crossfit to long-distance running to at-home Beachbody programs to being a strength-training, weight-throwing gym rat. Orangetheory workouts are my absolute favorite. The concept is intended to push you beyond your comfort zone, because, let's be honest....results don't happen from staying in your comfort zone. And. The biggest limiting factor is almost always in your head. So, I love the coach-driven training. And, if you want to be pushed they will push you. There is very little time for rest but you can also go at your own pace. Basically, you get the workout you, personally, put the work into. The coach-guided workouts, on the strength floor, are always demonstrated accurately and properly. The coaches are always attentive to form and willing to correct when needed. They offer modified movements as well. The program is a proven science and if you are consistent to follow it, you will have success. I wasn't looking to lose weight, tone up, or anything. Just there for the fitness, and since attending, my running pace has improved significantly. I think the program and structure is very well-thought-out and effective. It's also nice that, even though it's a group class, it's a personal experience. Nobody is competing with each other. Everyone is there with their own individual goals but working towards them together. The Granger studio: 5/5 stars on everything. Staff is friendly. Coaches are motivating and fun. Studio is always clean. Coaches always show up prepared so that classes run efficiently and seamless. It's obvious that the owners care about their studio and the people there. They participate and interact with members, which is nice and makes it feel like a family. Ive been to gyms where membership is just a number, with high turnaround in staff and members, and you rarely see the owners inside the facility....where membership rates are nothing more than revenue in their pocket. But, that isn't the case at this Orangetheory studio. The only cons worth mentioning are personal and so trivial. So, they only have one shower to access if you on attending a class on your way to work. They do have 2 restrooms to change in, so it's never really been an issue for me. Some classes fill up fast, and with limited spaces, it's good to pre-book. But. If you pre-book for early morning and don't make it (because you hit snooze too many times like I do), you will be charged a 12 fee. But. With limited space, i understand the need to do that, so I never complain. They need to ensure that others, wanting to plan on attending, have the chance to. Rates are pricey. But. Their equipment is top of the line, coaches that do such an amazing job must be well-compensated. You're basically getting unlimited personal training and gym access. So, to me, the rates are reasonable. I always say "you get what you pay for". They do run frequent promotions to get discounted rates. And, when i signed up, i didn't want to love it so much because of the cost. But, it was also worth it to me.All that to say, pros far outweigh any cons and the cons are personal and trivial. The Granger studio is well maintained and welcomes anyone, no matter where they're at with their fitness journey. It's great for anyone at any level. Even those new to working out. They also run monthly challenges, benchmark workouts so you can track your progress, and a nifty app that helps you track....for
