I joined O2 Fitness primarily to get some strength training and just overall fitness. I have been so please with Drew my trainer, who honestly deserves kudos for dealing with my “ challenges”. He is patient with my many questions and thoroughly explains each exercise and how the muscles respond in the areas I’m wanting to target. My schedule is tricky and Drew is able to work with me on that. Oh had to add.. also love that I can visit friends and family in Wilmington and workout! Big win!! Love my decision on making O2 Fitness a priority!

Overall this is a pretty good gym. Although, for the membership price, there are a few things that fall short. The padding on a lot of the machines is wrecked and takes a long time to be replaced, if ever. Their turf areas seem to be very dirty overall with a lot of hair tangled in them. Not sure what their cleaning process is for these areas but it doesn't seem to be doing enough to keep them very clean. The number of people with tripods set up to record themselves and teenagers grouping up to talk in front of the equipment is a bit much at certain times. The sauna units are often closed with 3-4 week repair timelines. And most of all, the parking situation is a mess. They have way too many gym members and not nearly enough parking spaces. It seems like the developer/owner of this location did not account for this accordingly during the lot selection/building phase.

5* for Julian Director of Fitness - his kinesiology background is super valuable in his approach. Great explanation & instruction. And, he just cares. You will achieve your fitness goals - highly recommend!
