When climbing indoors in Chicago, it's a shame you have to choose between two corporations. The better of the two is Movement. As a corporate entity they don't pretend to care about a "FAmily" of customers, they just do business and they do it well. All the ground-level staff is super nice and helpful. Really clean facility. Fun (but softly graded) routes. Sauna is great, too. Best weight/fitness area I've seen in a climbing gym. I just hope they don't repeat their mistake of laying off a bunch of people before the holidays and I hope they pay (or start paying) their ground level staff a LIVING WAGE, because as we know those who greet us, clean up after us and ask us how our sessions went are the ones who RUN the business, not the owners/upper level folk who are only thinking about their P&Ls.
