Misfits Fitness Academy and Martial Arts

Misfits is different! My son has been a part of this academy for a little while now. The instructors as well as the students are truly welcoming. Besides being skilled in Martial Arts, Kru Prairie and her trainers respect the children and always act appropriately. The student teacher ratio is phenomenal! My child has clearly gained strength and looks forward to attending classes. Above all, my son leaves feeling good about himself. That is the number one reason that we will continue to return to Misfits!

Girl fight is an awesome class! Such a healthy outlet for kids & I see it immediately boost their confidence. We look forward to our classes every week and its sparked an interest in getting involved in more Misfit classes.

Ive trained Muay Thai kickboxing and BJJ for a decade. After losing touch with martial arts during Covid, I was looking for a gym where my whole family could train. As the dad to a son on the Autism spectrum, I chose Misfits Fitness Gym because of its small group environment and kind, patient instructors. The curriculum focuses on helping students of all ages build confidence, strength, coordination, and listening skills. Its a place where my son is accepted and able to grow at his pace.The adult program is inviting and inclusive, letting students of all abilities and ages train and learn in a safe environment that is still challenging and results driven. Ive found my love of kickboxing again and made great new friends.There are a lot of mma gyms in the area and Ive trained at a few. Misfits is a great place to train if youre looking for a school with no egos, good people, and tough workouts.
