I had a very frustrating experience canceling my membership at Life Time Fitness in Phoenix. When I signed up, I was clearly told that I could cancel anytime without issues. However, when I actually tried to cancel, the process became unnecessarily difficult. The front desk required multiple documents (such as proof of relocation), which was never mentioned during sign-up. I had to spend a significant amount of time arguing and speaking with a manager before they finally processed the cancellation. This felt misleading and inconsistent with what was promised. For a gym that charges nearly $100 per month, I expected a much more transparent and professional experience. I would strongly recommend that future members carefully confirm the cancellation policy in writing before signing up.
