This locker room is egregiously terrible. It's almost a joke. There are supposed to be 6 showers. Keep in mind, the conditions I list below have been this way, unchanged, for a year. For all I know, it has been longer than that.
Shower #1 - never worked. There is a handle, but it just spins.
Shower #2 & 3 - water turns on, but is freezing cold. Zero hot water
Shower #4 & 5- Water turns on, but is also freezing cold. However, you get the added bonus of it smelling like someone deficated in it. Literally smells like sewage. One of the 2, had caution tape over it for a few weeks so I got excited they actually started to do something about this. But nope. They took the tape off, put the door back on and nothing changed except instead of cold water coming out, now nothing does.
Shower #6 - The only shower that has hot water consistently. It is the handicap shower and it has a fabric shower curtain. Since I have started coming here over the last year, it has never been changed once. It is absolutely disgusting. Completely covered in orange colored mildew. These are no more than $10 to replace on Amazon. I am literally going to buy one myself and change it.
So to recap the shower situation, there is 1 working shower with hot water and doesn't smell like raw sewage.
Everything is falling apart and I genuinely see no evidence of anything ever being cleaned. The sheet rock and tiles are falling apart. It never smells like cleaning products. It actually mostly smells like stale weed and must. There are 2 banks of sinks. 1 of those banks has a hand dryer and soap dispensers that usually have soap in them. The other bank has nothing but a super old and cheap hairdryer plugged in and strapped to the wall so no one steals it. There is nothing else. No paper towels, no hand dryer, nothing. Except a dirty, disgusting stainless steel garbage can that looks like it has never been cleaned. There is a steamroom in there, but I am not willing to explore that based on the condition of everything else. The only reason we go here is for pickleball and because it is so close to our office. So I can't speak to any of the actually gym equipment. The courts themselves are fine. The glass to the basketball courts are ALWAYS covered in disgusting fingerprints and smudges. I understand that the memberships are probably cheap, so no one is expecting Equinox levels of quality, but how about something respectable? It really is shameful. Spend SOME money on SOMETHING. Do better.
