I wish I had a better experience at this place. I came in to use a guest pass that still has a few days before it expires. I activated the guest pass at a different location and was told I could use the guest pass at any location during the seven day period. The staff member tried to brush me off instead of giving me more information about the pass and so I asked to speak to someone else. She went and got another worker from the back and he came out and explained to me how the guest pass works and he asked to see my ID. I had to go to the car to get it and I came back with my passport. I explained to the staff that I have been in a car accident a few days prior and my Drivers license was in my vehicle that’s in the body shop. I asked if I could give them my ID number and they could verify my identity with my passport - they said no, they need the physical drivers license. Now, a passport is a form of official legal identification, so their reasoning didn’t make sense. They were rude and gave me such a hard time instead of being reasonable and actually checking my passport. I don’t want to ever join LA fitness. The customer service is trash. I’m a training manager and customer service at this location could have been way better, so somebody needs to do some quality assurance to make sure that other guests are not treated this way. Because I was wasted my time and gas driving to this location and I thought this was the location that I would have chosen because of the area and it’s closest to my job. But now I will not be choosing LA fitness at all. I’ll also be emailing corporate. DO BETTER.
