I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at the Northbrook LA Fitness, and much of the issue stems from how the situation was handled by the manager, Francisco.
When I brought forward a legitimate concern, Francisco was dismissive, unprofessional, and showed no willingness to listen or resolve the issue. Instead of demonstrating leadership or accountability, he responded with indifference and a lack of basic customer service. A manager sets the tone for the entire facility, and unfortunately, the tone here is one of disregard for members.
The staff mirrored this attitude — unhelpful, inattentive, and unwilling to provide solutions. There was no apology, no follow-up, and no effort to make things right. For a gym that charges substantial membership fees, this level of service is unacceptable.
A gym should be a place where members feel respected and valued. Due to the poor management and lack of professionalism at this location, I cannot recommend this branch to anyone.
