Gyms like Iron Factory are very few and far between, I'd give them six stars if I could. Dave puts a ton of thought and effort into every aspect of the gym. The staff and members are friendly. The music is great. It's a perfect environment for whatever your fitness goals are. The gym is always clean and organized; you will never see a machine with a puddle of sweat on the seat, dirt or sweat on the floor, or a dumbbell or plate out of place. There are towels and cleaning supplies all over the gym; members are encouraged and expected to clean up after themselves, and the owner and staff have a thorough cleaning routine as well. There's a ton of equipment, it's spaced close enough that you never have to go too far, but there's still plenty of room to exercise without bumping into anyone. It's quality equipment too, with specialty bars and equipment that you just won't find at most gyms. There's a few locker rooms and showers if you need to change (they're also pristine), and a changing area with cubbies, benches, and a table (and charging cables) if you just need a place to keep your stuff. And it's safe too. I've seen people forget bags, shoes, jackets, even jewelry, in the changing area. None of it stolen. If you really want to set yourself up for success, this is the gym for you.

I left my original review based on my personal experience with the gym — not just the cancellation policy, but also the atmosphere, facility temperatures, and how I was treated. Rather than addressing those concerns, the owner responded with personal attacks and unprofessional language, which only reinforces my original point about how members are treated here. What I wrote reflects real issues I experienced during my time as a paying member. Calling me “butt hurt” is not only inappropriate, it’s dismissive of honest, legitimate feedback. If this is how the gym handles constructive criticism, I’d recommend others think twice before signing up.
