Grateful for a Gym That Supports Parents Hi. I'm Veronica. I’ve been going to In-Shape since August 2025, and honestly the main reason I signed up was because of their childcare services. As a single mom, that meant everything to me. If it weren’t for In-Shape offering childcare, I probably wouldn’t be able to go to the gym consistently. My child absolutely loves the childcare area. He’s always asking if we can go to the gym, which motivates me even more to get my workouts in. It’s such a relief to know he’s somewhere safe, having fun, while I’m able to focus on my health. During peak hours the gym can definitely get busy, but honestly I don’t mind at all as long as my child is happily being cared for. That service alone makes a huge difference for parents like me. What really impressed me is that they also create events for the kids. The Halloween event they hosted was amazing — they had a bounce house, a DJ, food vendors, candy, face painting, and so much more. I remember thinking, what gym does this? It was such a thoughtful way to bring families together. I’m really grateful for In-Shape and their willingness to support parents and children. Providing childcare isn’t always easy or the most profitable service, and there’s a reason not every gym offers it. But In-Shape does, and it makes a real difference. Thank you, In-Shape, for being a gym that truly welcomes families and says yes to kids.

I honestly regret ever signing up for In-Shape. The gym is perpetually dirty and grossly overcrowded, and it doesn’t matter what time you go. I’ve tried showing up at 4 AM thinking it would be quiet — still packed. Go at 5 PM — completely slammed. It feels like they sell way more memberships than the facility can reasonably handle. The weights are never organized, so every workout turns into a scavenger hunt. You spend half your time walking around the gym trying to find matching dumbbells or plates because nothing is where it’s supposed to be. On top of that, their business practices are terrible. I signed up during a promotion and canceled within the required time frame. However, because they require a 30-day payment period after cancellation, they claimed my membership was still technically active and then charged me the $89 annual fee anyway. It feels like a loophole designed specifically to trap people into paying fees even after they cancel. Between the overcrowding, the constant mess, and the questionable billing practices, this has easily been one of the worst gym experiences I’ve had. I would strongly recommend looking at other gyms before considering this one.
