Good little workout when I was in Taos. Happy they were open later at night.

Love the gym itself, however the management reacted poorly to a legal and safety situation that happened on the property earlier this year. Police were involved, and despite the obvious need for more and better cameras outside, particularly by the hot tub, they have failed to add cameras or even address the concern for cameras at all. The email I was sent, presumably by the owner, in my opinion lacked compassion, concern and professionalism, despite the sensitive matter. It has been quite some time now since the incident, and I am disappointed that it seems nothing has been or will be done about it- cameras seem to be untouched, there certainly doesn't look to be any new ones, and there has been no mention about new ones coming at all, at least to me.Otherwise, all staff seem polite, and I've had positive experiences there. The equipment is nice, like the set up of everything mostly and the location of the building is very convenient. However, this very unsettling experience was responded to poorly and leaves a bad taste. No one should feel they are unsafe or violated in any way while on property, and proper, working cameras are desperately needed to prevent events like this from happening to anyone, especially children who may be present next time! Had my situation been responded to even just a little better, then I very likely wouldn't have mentioned it, counting it as a strange fluke. However, the lack of proper response left me feeling like the situation would never be addressed fairly by upper management, and that perhaps it has since been brushed under the rug.
