The gym itself is great. The equipment is always up to par, a huge variety of options and classes. Never had an issue there.I wasnt going to review, but after it was brought to my attention that a number of people have had the same problem-it feels warranted now.We cancelled our membership back in September of 2025 due to personal reasons (pregnancy), and knew we would not be able to utilize the gym for a number of months. We fully planned on signing up again once healed and good to go. We called the gym and the lady we spoke to on the phone said she would get it taken care of (she was very pleasant). We didnt think anything of it, and didnt notice any charges, so all was good to go.Fast forward until February of 2026, and a decent amount was charged to our account. When I brought this to TJs attention, he stated it was for past months, and the membership had never been canceled, and to cancel the membership we wouldve had to come in to do so. When stated we were not told this and wouldve happily come in to do so, he stated part of the contract we signed was there was no over the phone cancellations, and basically it was our fault because his staff is trained and even though they told us wrong, he couldnt do anything about it.I asked for a corporate number and he couldnt provide one because they were a franchise and it wouldnt do anything. Apparently a multitude of people have had this problem-cancellation forms getting lost, memberships not being cancelled, being charged continuously. We would not continue to pay for a service in which we could not utilize it for the time being. I realize we most likely will never get a refund, but I do want people to know that this is unacceptable. We will obviously not be going back (I also fully realize they do not care about losing one customer, but its the principle of the situation).
