Gold's Gym - Fort Walton Beach: Memberships, Fees, Classes, and Facilities

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for a gym in Jacksonville, this is the one! Hands down the best gym my husband and I have ever been to. We only left because we moved, and we miss it so much already! They’ve got all the equipment you could ever need, but the best part is the people and the atmosphere. Everyone is so nice, welcoming, and supportive, it truly feels like a family. The daycare is incredible! The staff are attentive, patient, and genuinely care about the kids. I loved that they have a monitor so you can check in on your little ones while you work out. Huge shoutout to the amazing women in the daycare 🫶🏼 Kim and Makayla, you’re the best! Also want to mention Danny (the manager) and Brenda at the front desk, both go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. We can’t say enough good things about this place. I'm from the Goldsboro area and happened to be in town for work. I decided, why not check out Jacksonville's Gold Gym? At first glance, before entry, I noticed from the side window the beautiful artwork done in the Day Care Center. Upon entering, I was greeted by the front desk staff, who were very kind. I asked the front desk lady where the locker rooms were, and she asked if I was new. I mentioned I was from Goldsboro, and I was a regular at that Golds Gym, and I had just decided to stop in to check out the Jacksonville Golds. She introduced herself as Brenda. She seemed extremely excited when I told her where I was coming from, and she then offered to give me a tour, to which I agreed. The tour was great, Brenda kept it short yet very informative. I really liked the layout of the gym equipment; there was definitely a lot of thought and consideration that went into the layout, which is something I'm sure many could appreciate. For example, if you're hitting legs, you don't have to travel all over the gym to get to the machine you need; it's all in one area for convenience. They have a little semi-hidden section that Brenda refers to as "the booty lab" lol, which they essentially hid on purpose to allow whoever is using a machine, such as "hip abductors", to help them not feel so awkward or uncomfortable. And as a woman, I definitely respect and appreciate the thought behind creating that section. Also, as someone who cannot stand being under fluorescent lights for too long, I loved the section that has no lights on, but in it, it has treadmills, and I believe I saw elliptical machines. The locker rooms were really clean, spacious, and the mirrors were in areas that just made so much sense to have them in. I was extremely impressed with the overall environment, aesthetic, and staff of this particular Gold's Gym. I definitely plan on revisiting soon!
