During a recent FaceTime with my friend, Jim, he mentioned that he’s been hitting the gym regularly now. I was surprised to hear this since he wasn’t the type of guy who would go to the gym. He shared how the trainers at Fitness First have motivated him to workout every day. Intrigued, I did my research on Fitness First including the membership rates, benefits, and amenities. I also read several reviews, which have been encouraging. I’ll reveal the details in this post.

What is Fitness First?

Fitness First is one of the world’s leading health and fitness connection companies, owned and operated by Landmark Group. It has more than 70,000 members and more than 50 clubs across 40 locations in the Middle East and Asia, plus other countries around the world including the UK and Australia.

At the moment, there are no Fitness First gyms in the US, which is disappointing as I would have loved to check out one of their gyms. Below are the Fitness First membership options for the UK.

Fitness First Customer Reviews

Fiona Spiers

Really enjoying morning sessions with Cristina at Berkeley square. Newbie to the gym but she provides a good workout that is challenging but also enjoyable. Makes me want to go back which is great!

New PT instructor Tom Harris joining Fitness First Bedford is amazing and fully recommend him for anyone thinking of having a PT instructor. I suffer with fibromyalgia and require 2 new knees. He has helped me with pre op muscle building but my main concern was having a PT who was understanding with my good days & bad days, he would change my program accordingly to my needs on that the day but kept me motivated throughout, helping me to also loss weight and tone. I will miss our training days now he has moved to pastures new.

COLLINGTON

All my experiences at Fitness First Poole are excellent. The gym is a friendly welcoming place with a huge choice of equipment and classes. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful and are always available for advice. I wouldn’t change a thing

Is the Fitness First Membership Cost Worth It?

While I have not experienced Fitness First for myself, my friend Jim only has great things to say about it. Plus, the reviews seem to agree with him. The membership rates at £95.00 per month may not be cheap but you’re getting a lot for your money including swimming pools, fun classes, high end machines, great trainers and a supportive environment all around. You may also want to know anytime membership cost.
