Man, I love this gym. Yeah, it's currently under construction, but no gym I have worked out at compares. I have lived in Weho for over six years, and I have tried every gym of note in the area, partly because I wanted to save some money, but you get what you pay for... This place beats them all. I've also traveled a lot for work, working out at high end gyms and private clubs across Europe and South America, and I always, a l w a y s missed Equinox on Sunset. Its floors are spotless, the men's locker room is, too, except for the occasional member who for some reason or another can't clean up after themselves (rinse the sink after you shave!!!! How freaking hard is that?!). The equipment is in top shape and clean. Weights are racked and re-racked, it smells great, it feels great, gym towels available everywhere, great classes, and on and on. It's just a cut above the rest. Yes, the space is limited at the moment, and some of the open, breezy areas are closed off for now, BUT it still is the best gym for me, of the hundred(s) I have been to over the years. Granted, I go to do my thing. I don't interact with the staff much, except for "hi" and "bye", but my experience with the front desk staff has always been great. I can't speak to personal training, etc., but if you care for a place to work out that has everything you need, is clean and well organized, with a high-end feel, without grunting and screaming dudes and overly aggressive dude behavior, this is the place for you and I'll see you there (but I probably won't talk to you ;)
