I was excited to visit and possibly join this new location as it is right down the street from where I live.
I went in for a tour and was teamed up with a man who wanted me to first sit as his desk while he went over the pricing.
Surprised I requested a tour of the facility as I was mainly interested in the sauna and red light therapy room both of which he could not show me because he was a man and could not go into the female dressing room area section along with that he rushed me through the whole tour within a three minute time period.
I left disappointed but came back a few days later and requested a female to walk me through for a tour which was rushed again but better than the first.
I noticed the sauna and red light therapy room is not available from 12am - 2am - understood.
They where nice and Darius provided me with a free 7 day pass, I went in at 2:45 am as that would be my time to enjoy the center away from the crowd and I could enjoy the facility unbothered.
I got undressed and went to use the sauna only to realize it was turned off, getting redressed and going to the front counter to ask why along with two other people we where told by the counter guy that the saunas are off from 12am - 4am - kind of in disbelief because that IS NOT what the signage says I again, left disappointed and left a message that I will not be back nor will I be obtaining a membership,
Darius who is the is the manager called me about my message and after explaining the situation to him he said the saunas should have been on and that he would find out the reasoning and find out why and call me right back, that never happened, further texts where left unanswered until I stated I would be writing reviews of my experience, I was then contacted by an assistant manager who wanted to know what was going on, already completely frustrated with the situation I stated I am not going to go into the details with an assistant manager when I was already speaking with the manager and clearly stated NOT to contact me again, but, again, the assistant manager called me again and I simply stated not to call me back and hung up on him.
My position is this after reading reviews about this and that along with my personal experience is that EOS Fitness really does not give a crap about your needs and ONLY interested in the money that can make off of you with a membership.
I am completely turned off by the experience and will not seek the membership.
My suggestion is you review everything in full before you hand over your checking account information for a membership.
It seems they now charge for towels, there are no paper towels to use to wipe down equipment, etc., etc, I did see cleaning disinfectant bottles for usage but no paper towels.
This was a big FAIL for me, Ill pass
