This is an honest review. I have been a member for a few months now and at first I was very impressed from what I saw in the beginning but it seems to have gone downhill since. First, if you're looking for a gym that has the basic needs and a little bit more, you would be going to the right place. Don't waste your money on upgraded memberships since honestly they're not really worth it, at least in this Branch. If you want to take full advantage of your membership, you might want to go to another branch of EOS, not the Riverview one. I have noticed during my time there that the pool area meaning the Jacuzzi or the pool itself has been closed down at least three times in the past 3 months for longer than a week period at a time. So if you're looking to use that as an amenity be watchful of your money because you will probably not be able to use that amenity the ways that you would want to. If you're looking for a place that has a good sauna, unfortunately this isn't in the past 3 months. I've had to go up to staff members at different times of the day and ask them to increase the heat on the sauna because it looks like they're penny pinching and they are decreasing the heat every time they get a chance to do so. I have gone to other branches during my tenure and at the other branches I've had a great experience with it being perfect temperature for a sauna. To put it into a literal sense and the other saunas I lasted only 15 minutes which is pretty typical and normal. Whereas in this one I've actually stayed in for an hour and a half literally and still not sweat as much. If you're looking to use the amenity of the massage chairs, get ready for another surprise. You will be limited to 10 minutes each session and you only get two sessions for the massage chairs. And as of today, I believe there are six chairs or five chairs and three of those chairs had signs that needed to be repaired and as I try to use one of the working ones. Well that one was also inoperable so now that's four chairs out of the five or six that are in there. Again, this isn't another amenity that is paid for extra. If you're looking to use the hyper ice benefit, get ready again, I believe there's also like five or six chairs there and there's always at least two that are always leaking air or say that the battery needs charging even though it's electric. Also, if you somehow managed to lighten the good chair, be careful with the compression boots as some of the boot Zippers are broken. You say you want to take a shower in the clean environment. Make sure to have your shower shoes on... You should always have it on regardless but at this gym 100% for sure. I have ran into feces. The smell of urine when trying to take a shower I usually mouth breathe instead of smelling it. Also you have to take caution that you don't slip and trip over a loose tile on the floor in the shower or a loose grill... Especially in the handicap shower. Oh you would like to sit on a bench while getting dressed. Sorry the bench is used wet towels Left behind by other members 3 hours ago and still haven't been cleaned up. The same members that leave trash inside the lockers and still don't get cleaned up. Not even 3 hours or a few days later. What I've gathered staff is fairly friendly. I don't know what the rules are but I used to run other franchise gyms and we had a rule that the staff could work out during their time off, not during her time on because we wanted them to focus on customer relations and the gym itself from the weights for the cleanliness to the refills of hygiene products. But I guess they Have different rules which is okay but at least make sure those things get done first before you start your workouts or have down time on your phone after all, it's what our membership fees pay for and the extra maintenance fee they mandatory make us pay. Like I said, the gym has its basics that's why it's rated a two star. But everything else as far as worth it for your money. I'd probably invest it elsewhere. Unfortunately this is the only gym that is 24 hours near me .
