Last year (Freshman) was my son's (Jakob) first year playing football. He was pretty scared, but then about two games into the season he fell in love with football. Needless to say, he was quite a bit behind many of the other players, as they had played numerous seasons in the past. A friend of our referred us to EFORCE, more specifically, in their own words, "a great coach." Wanting to give our son the best chance at making the team as a Sophomore next year, my wife and I went all-in to give our son the opportunity to experience optimal coaching. We knew that for Jakob to make the needed progress it would be an uphill battle. We contacted EFORCE and requested he work with the referred "great" coach.UPDATE: After a few months of attending EFORCE, this so-called "great coach" turned out NOT to be "great" after all...he is "phenomenal." Coach Paul Kraus has taken a young man who has only one year of experience and was full of the love of the game, but lacked the necessary skills, and has instilled in Jakob, not only the skills he will need to succeed, but the character he needs in order to mentally prepare himself, conduct himself, and to succeed himself in his goal to play high school football. My son now takes it upon himself (because he now believes in himself) and does 100 pushups on his own every day and understands hard work, focus, and what it means to not cheat yourself by cutting corners. I know this is a long review, but with tears in my eyes I write this review. Why? Because I see that my son, for the first time in his football journey, believes in himself and is, on his own, driving himself to be the best football player he can be. I owe it all to Coach Paul Kraus (Milwaukie/Portland, Oregon). Thank you, Coach Kraus, for investing in the most valuable person in our lives, our son. #EFORCE
