Double Down Athletics

I've been sending my sons (6 and 11) to Double Down for Summer Camp for 5-6 years now and will continue to do so until they age out of it. Not only do my boys have so much fun, but the staff and primarily the head coach/owner, Coach Terri, are the best at what they do. I trust her and her staff with my kids and have never had an issue. Summer camp is always a fun experience for my boys from Open-Play time on the inflatables and foam pit, arts and crafts, movie time, and water day on Fridays with pizza and ice cream. She has plenty of staff to ensure that all kids are being watched over at all times. And if my boys ever act up, I am always notified in a timely fashion.

What can be said about Double Down Athletics? My daughter has been going to that gym in some compacity since she was 3 years old. Whether it was the summer camps (So FUN! 10- out of 10!), She had 2 birthday parties there that were a HUGE hit! resulting in more friends having their parties there. Now, she cheers with the All-Star program. I can say this about their program; it is refreshing that this program throws back to traditional athletic values. Work hard, get rewarded. I raise my daughter to believe nothing in life is handed to you, you have to work and put forth maximum effort to see results and be rewarded. This program and these coaches reinforce that with this program! Terri King and the coaches she supports love these athletes! I have seen it firsthand! When tragedy struck these kids communities, they sat them down and gave them the time to feel heard and loved. Is every night perfect? Absolutely not! But I would challenge this reader to ask themselves, do I want to prepare my child for a life where challenges are going to happen, and I need to find the solution? If the answer to that is yes. I recommend this gym! Megan is 16 now and in the 13 years of growth with this gym I would say there is no place I would rather see her grow. I have been at this gym for 16 years first with my oldest and now my youngest, i have seen many coaches come and go, parents come and go and kids that grow up, graduate and move on some even have been in college cheer, I have sat through practices and have watched both my kids grow into amazing cheerleaders! If you are looking into a family environment for your child to cheer this is the gym for you, you are able to watch practices, you are welcome to reach out to coaches if needed to, doors are open, come and check it out!
