CANCEL BEFORE THE 25TH OR THEY WILL BILL YOU FOR ANOTHER MONTH.3/5/26UPDATE: Just spoke with a snotty manager and she said my MEMBERSHIP IS NOT CANCELLED AND THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BILL ME BECAUSE I DIDN'T PAY THE BILL AFTER I ATTEMPTED TO CANCEL! I TOLD YOU ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY.Defined responded by stating, "If you were advised to cancel in writing, that is one accepted method..." Nowhere in my review did I state I was advised to cancel in writing, so not sure where that came from.She also lied and said the employees tell people they can cancel in the app or in person, AND she lied and said employees tell people to cancel before the 25th. Call for yourself and verify the lies!When you call to inquire about CANCELING YOUR MEMBERSHIP, someone at Defined has decided that it is a good idea (more profitable) to train the staff to tell you that the ONLY way to cancel the membership is to physically go in to a location, which is a LIE. The TRUTH is, you can cancel your membership in the app, but they don't admit that is an option until you let them know that you are unable to come in to their location. See for yourself. Call any location and inquire about canceling your membership. Whoever you speak with will inform you that the only way to cancel is to come in to one of their locations. Also, make sure you initiate the cancellation before the 25th of the month, or you will be charged for the following month, even though you attempted to cancel before you were billed.HERE ARE THE STEPS TO CANCEL IN THE APP: Click on your profile. (upper left corner) Click on membership. Click on manage. (upper right corner) Click cancel membership. (bottom of screen) Click on cancel membership again.
