By random chance, I joined Dark Horse months before an unexpected life event would devastate my life. At the time, I had signed up for personal training lessons from one of the owners who was a complete stranger to me. But over the next several months, Edgar befriended me and honestly became like a therapist - but the therapy was exercise. Some days I'd cry while working out and I never once thought anyone in this place was judging me.I'm at least 200 lbs overweight, I want to mention that. Gyms are not my favorite place. But there are a lot of 1st responders and military personnel here - and they are all some of the nicest and most encouraging people you'll ever meet.This place is special. If you're trying to change your life, this is a good place to start. Especially if you're overweight - imagine a gym full of people that say hi to you and help you. This is that place.

Fantastic gym thats never too busy. Former college athlete thats spent a ton of time in a ton of different world class gyms and this one is near the top of the list. Plenty of space, great facilities, and any piece of equipment you could ever want.
