Filled out a survey noting that there had been extensive time since multiple machines were broken and not fixed.Received an email offering complimentary month of membership because of the issue on 2/3/26 with the email signed by Seth. I responded with gratitude and asking how to redeem, no response. I emailed again on 2/18/26 following up, no response. These emails were signed by a person so I assumed they were able to receive responses, especially after offering complimentary month. There was a case ID attached and all. Never received the complimentary month, called corporate about it multiple times, they waved the late fee of membership because of no response. After calling multiple times I was told that the specific location is the point of contact. I called before my next membership was late this month, manager said she was going to give me a call back Thursday 3/19 at 9am and never did. I came in the gym today 3/22 and was told my membership was late by 4 days which I told him I was aware and was trying to get in contact with someone about my issue for almost 2 months now.The person that was at the desk just so happened to be the person whos name was signed on the email I received that was the root of my issue.I asked was that him and he said they use his name sometimes, read the email and said that I was good to go. I proceed to go to my workout and get a notification that I was charged. I walked to the desk and ask did he get everything figured out, he says yes and I ask well I just got a charge. He tells me that they cant waive overdue charges only the next charges. I told him that should have been communicated because 1. They can, as I previously mentioned corporate has waived fees during this window of trying to get it fixed, 2. Charging me after you told me I was good to go after you just read an email from YOU that offered a complimentary month free is the definition of deceitful. If there wasnt anything you could do because you are the assistant manager, That should have been communicated. I have been contacting crunch BEFORE the membership was due, which I told him and he knew after speaking to his manager. I canceled my membership. Offering something complimentary in lieu of your lack of customer experience, just to not follow through and create another issue with absolutely not apologetic tone whatsoever is never a place Id continue to give my money to. His demeanor was very careless, with just stale remarks of oh did they oh ok, not even listening to what I am saying just responding with no care at all. Disgusting attitude.
