I had a very frustrating experience with Crunch Fitness. When I signed up, no one clearly explained that the membership required ongoing monthly payments or that I needed to formally cancel to stop being charged.I stopped going because I moved away and even informed them, but I was still charged and ended up paying over 300 for something I wasnt using. This felt very misleading and unfair.They really need to be more transparent about their contracts and cancellation policies so this doesnt happen to other people.

The atmosphere is motivating you come and want to train.

Ive been going to Crunch in Paramus for years, but unfortunately over the past few years the condition of this gym has gone downhill significantly.First off, the parking lot is like a minefield with potholes everywhere. Its honestly surprising it hasnt been fixed yet. You practically need a tank to get through the parking lot.Inside the gym is where things really get frustrating. The cleanliness has gotten terrible. Many of the paper towel dispensers dont work, and the bathrooms often dont even have soap. The group fitness room in particular is so dirty that I honestly dont even want to put my mat down during workouts.On top of that, there has been a noticeable decline in the number of classes offered, which was one of the reasons many people joined in the first place.Its disappointing because this used to be a solid gym. Hopefully management addresses the cleanliness, maintenance, and class schedule, because right now its not living up to what members are paying for.
