CrossFit SCV

The Dekok couple are beasts! In the nicest way! Took my first class back with Alex today, and as always, he was equally supportive and motivating throughout the entire session. This gym, CrossFit SCV, is the first I’ve been to that truly cares about your overall well-being and attendance - they actually notice when you haven’t been in a while and make a point to encourage you to get back to it. I forgot how much I missed this place; carving out time for it is absolutely worth it! Alex is very knowledgeable and attentive - he carefully assesses your ability and makes thoughtful modifications while still pushing you to challenge yourself. He created an environment that felt both welcoming and demanding, where I felt comfortable but also inspired to dig deeper. Throughout the workout, he would shout out encouragement and offer quick, precise adjustments to ensure my technique was solid. I am wrecked, but in the best way possible! The combination of his coaching and the community energy made the class feel like exactly what I needed. My husband and I are both members and both encourage each to make time!

I am new to crossfit and Kara has been amazing - she has such a positive attitude. She provides great feedback and corrections. She offers clear, encouraging adjustments that help you improve without feeling overwhelmed. The gym is clean and spacious, with plenty of room to move freely and equipment that’s well-maintained. But what really stands out is the people. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and supportive.
