pros: appreciate the diversity in classes - have been able to try boxing, cycle, Pilates, etc all under the same membership! enjoy the aesthetic of the gym and how close it is to where I live (within a 10 min drive). Like all the different areas for stretching, cardio (including multiple treadmills and stair climbers), free weights and the green gym floor. Easy-to-grab towel service and high quality sauna are appreciated as well, along with the hot tub and pool.
cons (heavy): since this past fall and especially since January 2026, memberships have significantly increased! to the point that classes are constantly booked; locker rooms are full, the sauna is full, machines are full, and the gym overall feels crowded. It no longer feels like a premier experience or worth the $160+ membership, because I can no longer guarantee getting a spot in the classes I’m interested in.
on top of this, I have had to join the waitlist multiple times for a class that may not suit my schedule once I am accepted, however cancelling a class within 12 hours is a $10 fee (would recommend a 2-3 hr policy like other major chains, ex Corepower or Lifetime)
some instructors are great, truly care and are qualified, others do not give off the most welcoming energy or lack qualification to teach their specific class
wipes frequently run out, equipment is not guaranteed for use (ex only one hip ab/adductor machine, often with multiple ppl waiting or switching off)
hot tub and pool are great, but hours do not match the gym hours. Gym closes quite early on weekends, at 6 pm Sat/Sun
overall: I was really excited about this gym when it first opened! However, due to oversold membership to individuals across the DMV area, it no longer feels like a luxury neighborhood gym but an overcrowded cash grab. Debating whether to keep my membership at this point!
