I've been training with Jake Smith at Chainsaw Fitness for 5 years, and it has been an incredible journey. We originally started with Muay Thai and conditioning, but over the years, Jake has expertly adapted our sessions around my evolving physical pursuits. This gym is one of THE BEST in North County not only because of the committed trainers that teach at this gym, but also b/c the diverse background of people that come to get training from professional fighters like Jake Smith. All the coaches are dedicated to improving the lives and skillset in Muay Thai kickboxing, while teaching strength training and conditioning. No matter your age, gender, size/build, the coaches like Jake, Tom, Adon, Rene (and more) know exactly how to customize their teaching to help you hit your goals and get you ready for a fight or just any self defense situation. As a woman, I took it for self defense and found it extremely helpful, my teen daughter goes for fight training, and theres also a kids class that my 11yr old attends and loves! Check it out!
