Ive only been a member of Burn for 22 days but what a difference it has made in my life already! I was an avid (6 days a week) gym goer before I had my son 4 1/2 years ago. I literally worked out until the day before I delivered him. I was strong, confident, and proud of myself for all that I was accomplishing. I loved my gym (similar to burn - group classes) and I was so excited to go back after having my son. However, I found it very difficult to coordinate childcare to be able to get to the gym. It became more stressful than a stress relief to go. Fast forward two years, and I gave birth to my daughter. I was the heaviest Ive ever been and postpartum depression and anxiety got me. Fast forward another two years to today and I realized I had lost myself in motherhood. I needed to do something to get ME back so that I could be the absolute best mom that my kids deserve. In December of 2025, my friend Katie had asked me for a couple weeks to join her for a class. Finally, I caved. I went to my first class, and I fell in love. The atmosphere, encouragement, awesome music, energy, workouts, trainers, and honestlythe thing that tipped me over the edge and made me a burn believer was the child watch. I can bring my kids with me and know that they are having fun playing with other kids while they get to watch their mom become a better version of herself. I am so grateful for this new me, and I cannot wait to see the goals Im gonna crush and the changes Im gonna see in myself physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally!
