BSA Basketball Center

This program is a money grab, at least on the girls side. We were promised quality experienced coaches and got someone with no experience what so ever. He spent more time attempting to be friends with the girls. When we asked the head coach about the coaching team he said that he had been upfront with BSA about his lack of availability. None of that was shared with parents at the beginning. We had a few games that the parents had to coach because the coach didnt know what he was doing OR just didnt show.When parents voiced opinions, they were told, you have already paid so we dont care what you do.When we signed up, we were told that it was a fundamental program-which we were ok with. There were 2 separate practices in different locations, never any full team practices and the girls were not taught the importance of playing with different players or how to meld together. Had a hard time gelling as a team- which to me seems like a major base for fundamentals.Just play elsewhere!

Great facility for a basketball workout. Coach DeRose did an excellent job with the boys!
