My husband and I were very disappointed with how the staff handled the situation regarding my service dog. I was asked to provide personal medical information just to keep using the gym, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. My dog is properly trained to assist me with specific tasks, and this situation showed a clear lack of understanding of ADA rights. I truly hope management improves staff training so no one else has to go through something like this.

I visited Body Evolution recently and felt uncomfortable due to repeated questioning about my service animal. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), staff are allowed to ask only two questions regarding a service animal: (1) whether the animal is required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task the animal has been trained to perform. They are not allowed to demand certification, registration, or paperwork. Even after we provided the appropriate paperwork, we continued to experience harassment and repeated questioning. This treatment felt unnecessary, intrusive, and discriminatory. I hope the management reviews their staff training on ADA guidelines to ensure that people with service animals are treated respectfully and within the bounds of the law.
