Hardbody Fitness 24hr access gym

DO NOT GO HERE I came here to buy a one-month membership. I stood outside the front door for about 10 minutes. The trainer looked right at me through the window and never let me in. Eventually another gym member opened the door for me.I went over to the trainer and asked about getting a membership. He seemed annoyed but walked to the desk to start the process.I tried making small talk and mentioned I was checking out different gyms in the area but there werent many options. He said, There are plenty of options, just maybe not what youre looking for.I told him Im a powerlifter and just need a place where I can squat, bench, and deadlift.He looked up from the computer and said, Your kind arent welcome here.I asked what he meant, and he said powerlifters are loud, disrespectful, and bang weights. He told me if I wanted to lift like that I should go to Silverback or Fortis instead.Then he asked, Are you going to buy a membership or not?I said I wanted to quickly look up Fortis and see if it was any good. He responded, I dont have time for you, and stormed off.So I left and didnt buy a membership.Its pretty disappointing to be judged like that. Treating people like that when theyre just trying to sign up for a gym isnt right. You shouldn't judge a whole group of people just because you had one bad experience in the past.I ended up going to Fortis Fitness and had a great experience there. If your in the area and want a great gym, go to Fortis Fitness.

I vacationed for a week. The owner met me at the gym and for a small fee, I received a digital card to access the gym. The gym was never crowded and had decent AC. I am a weightlifter, so the old school gym was perfect. The owner was very nice, and I would highly recommend. Thank you, Dave.

As someone who works in gym operations myself, I always appreciate an old-school vibe but this place really missed the mark on cleanliness. The mirrors were dirty, floors needed serious attention, and the gym didnt feel cared for. The equipment is older, which is totally fine when its maintained, thankfully, most of what I used functioned properly, though a few dumbbells were loose.The day pass was 15, which is steep compared to the 10 day pass at my gym back home in Arkansas (which has 6X the space, way more equipment, day pass is good until midnight because we are also staffed 24/7, and is far cleaner).I asked a question about the day pass timeframe before leaving, and the trainer cut me off with youre done when you finish your workout. Not exactly the customer service youd hope for.Overall, it could be a cool spot for locals or serious lifters, but it definitely needs more attention to upkeep and professionalism to earn that price point.
